Along riverbanks in the conglom of silica, crushed rock and bone, we find the essential material of potters and sculptors.... clay. Almost every culture uses this basic stuff to create the practical, the ornamental and even the bizarre. Whether fired in simple home-built ovens, fire holes or in the most sophisticated 21st century kilns, the product is the solid expression of a clay artist.

At Clayforth we focus on making body adornment that evokes tribal shapes and and/or natural images. Our creations are not meant to relate to any known religious or spiritual iconography. Each piece is made by hand and most are one of a kind. We are a two person enterprise inspired by nature and history with a taste for ceramic wearables.
